CERTIFICATES AND RATINGS
Let Gold Coast Flight Service help you get your pilot certificate or additional rating. With our current aircraft available for rent, the Mooney M20K, we can offer instruction for these single engine certificates; Commercial, ATP, CFI, CFII and Instrument Rating. This aircraft is not suitable for Private Pilot instruction but, we are always looking for primary trainer aircraft to put on line to begin offering Private Pilot training.

If you are interested in purchasing or already own an airplane that would make a good primary trainer get in touch about possible leaseback opportunities.

ENDORSEMENTS
Looking for a complex and/or a high performance endorsement? With our Mooney M20K, Gold Coast Flight Service can get you both. The Mooney M20K has a 210 hp Continental engine with a constant speed prop, retractable landing gear and flaps. Our Mooney M20K is turbocharged with speed brakes and has a service ceiling of 24,000 feet.
FLIGHT REVIEW & IPC
Whether in my airplane or yours let Gold Coast Flight Service conduct your Flight Review (BFR) or Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC). Don't ever be satisfied with just doing the bare minimum on a Flight Review or IPC. For the safety of you and your passengers always insist on being held to at least ACS standards for your level of certificate. After a preliminary interview get a Flight Review or IPC that is tailored to your needs and the type of flying that you do.

According to FAR 61.56 (a) the FAA requires a minimum of 1 hour of ground training and 1 hour of flight training to complete a Flight Review. However a safe professional pilot will always demand more. The necessary requirements for an IPC can be found in the appendix of the Airplane Instrument Rating ACS. The FAA also provides AC-61-98D Guidance for Flight Reviews and Instrument Proficiency Checks. I would advise all clients to read these documents before scheduling a Flight Review or IPC with Gold Coast Flight Service.
